Capesthorne Hall - with its beautiful gardens - and Redesmere Lake, noted for its varied bird population, are both within walking distance.

For guests wishing to explore a little farther afield, Cheshire’s “Gardens of Distinction”, Gawsworth Hall;  Tatton Park;  Adlington Hall;  Styal Country Park and Arley Hall with its wonderful walled gardens, are only a short drive away.

Astbury Mere Country Park has a network of footpaths exploring the pretty hidden valleys of the nearby Congleton countryside.

Several charming, cosy pubs, serving excellent food can be found in Lower Withington & the surrounding villages.

The famous Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre & Arboretum is a 5-minute drive away.

For guests wishing to combine their stay with something a little different  - Fly Fishing tuition is available from a qualified angling instructor, either for complete beginners as an introduction to the sport, or those with some knowledge and wishing to improve.  Details on request.
